We have a bit of a secret to let out. Well, we have three little secrets to let out. In case you have not noticed, Jay and I have gone from a party of two to a party of five overnight.

Just to give some background, the little peeps came to live with us in May and have been with us ever since. Taking the summer to learn how to parent these three kids has been an amazing and tiring adventure. Getting to know their unique personalities and teaching them to grow and learn has been one of the best enjoyments of our lives.

First...what we cannot do. We cannot show faces, talk about names, their history, or how specifically they came to live with us. We also ask everyone not to share identifiable information about them on social media.

Now, the good stuff that we can talk about regarding small, medium, and large (these are names they made up for themselves).

Kids paddle boarding.

Small is three years old. He is, of course, the most adorable 3 year old explorer with a lot of charm for such a young boy. Small may only be three, but that doesn't stop him from trying to keep up with the older kids.

Medium is a five year old boy. He has the loudest voice in the family. Often times, I get the feeling that he has only one volume setting: MAX. He is doing excellent in kindergarten and loves learning about new things. He is, after all, the kid who taught the family how to Pop See Koo.

Large is a seven year old girl. She has a knack for art and creativity. We are constantly amazed at her skill with arts. Large is also a great outdoorsy person. No fear when it comes to bugs or spiders outside and always willing to explore.

So with that...the adventure continues. We are excited to get to spend the holiday season with our family.
